Bug: UV Version Command Retrieves Incorrect Version
The uv version --short command retrieves the uv tool's version instead of the project version from pyproject.toml. This breaks the nightly build's versioning logic and causes version validation to fail.

Bug: UV Missing Version Subcommand Fails Workflow
The workflow attempts to set the project version using uv version. UV does not have a version subcommand for managing project versions (it's an installer/resolver, not a version tool), so this step will fail.
